Summer Activities at the Georgia Aquarium
I wanted to share an email that I received from the Georgia Aquarium outlining some new activities over the summer –

Georgia Aquarium to the rescue. They have an incredible line-up of events over the next month. Below are quick descriptions of new experiences and celebrations that we’d love for you to share with your readers.
Please welcome….the Waddle Walk!
Members of the penguin care team will lead several African penguins on twice-a-day guided walks through the Aquarium’s atrium, giving guests and up close encounter with this amazing species. Each Waddlewalk begins with an education session about African penguins given by Georgia Aquarium’s own Spokespenguin, George Waddlesworth. The Waddle Walk will take place everyday at 10:45 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. and is included in general admission.
On Father’s Day, Sunday, June 19, fathers will receive half-off general Aquarium admission with one full paying adult. All admissions, other than dad, can be purchased in advance online. The half-price ticket for dad must be purchased at the ticketing window on arrival.
Also happening Father’s Day weekend, June 17-19, Georgia Aquarium will host a weekend car show in Oceans Ballroom. Explore an impressive array of cars and motorcycles from years past to present including cars from the World War II era and the 1909 Harvester. *Entrance to Oceans and Autos is a separate ticket from general Aquarium admission. Guests purchasing general admission to the Aquarium can add on an Oceans and Autos ticket for just $10. Tickets for guests to experience Oceans and Autos only are $20. Children 12 and under attending Oceans and Autos receive free admission.
