Mounds, Bricks, and Railroads at the Ocmulgee National Monument

On May 28th and 29th, the Ocmulgee National Monument will be hosting Mounds, Bricks, and Railroads.  Here is the information from their facebook page –

Ramble with a Park Ranger around/on the Temple Mounds. See 1930’s archeological drawings of Indian houses and lodges that existed between the mounds 1000 years ago. Imagine the political/religious leaders of that era. Climb the stairs of the Great Temple Mound and review old photos of the 1800s brick factory and railroad terminal that were near the base of the Mound. FREE!
