Children’s Summer Workshops at the Ocmulgee National Monument
In June, the Ocmulgee National Monument will be hosting their FREE Annual Children’s Summer Workshops. The children (ages 6 – 12) will hike the trails, learn about Native American Culture and History, make Pottery and Necklaces, and play Native American Games. All they need to bring is a sack lunch and plenty of water. The workshop is free, but you do need to call and make reservations – 478-752-8257. Also, children can only attend one day. If you are at all interested in your child attending, call today – the spots fill up fast.
