Warner Robins

Academy of Dance (June 15th – July 17th; ages 3 – 13+)

  • The Academy of Dance will be hosting Pirates and Princesses and Budding Ballerinas for their Summer Camps this year –  complete with costumes, etiquette class, and a performance for parents.  They  will also offer one Dance Intensive Training Class.  (Part-Day)

Bricks4Kidz (June 1st – July 24th; ages 6 – 13)

  • A camp where you play with LEGOS – sounds great, and every week brings a new topic – Minecraft, Jr. Robotics, Bricks4God, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and many others. (various times)

Central Fellowship Christian Academy (June 1st – July 24th; 5 yo – 6th grade)

  • Enjoy a camp full of science, rockets, pirates, and adventure!  The Museum of Aviation offers a wide variety of educational and enjoyable camps.  9:00am – 12:00pm.

The Gym Nest (June 7th – 21st; ages 4+)

  • This camp is geared toward recreational and competitive gymnasts who would like to increase their skills, strength, and flexibility.  (Part-Day)

Macon Bibb County Recreation Center (June 2nd – July 11th; ages 6 – 15)

  • The Macon Bibb County Rec Centers will be hosting six weeks of camps at various parks around Macon.  In addition to a General Summer Camp, they will have sports and outdoor camps. (Full-Day; Lunch Included)

Macon Little Theatre (June 8th – 19th; ages 5 – 9+)

  • Macon Little Kid’s Camp will host two camps this summer – a Mini Camp for five – eight year olds and a Main Camp for nine years old and up.  They will perform Beauty and the Beast at the end of the camp.

  • Mercer University offers Kids College and Youth University during the month of June, and students can choose a one-week course in creative writing, science, and mathematics.  Mercer also offers computer camps through a different program. (Part-Day)

Youth Theatre Workshop (May 25th – June 19th; 7 yo – 12th gr)

  • For the 21st year, the Perry Players will be hosting the Youth Theatre Workshop.  Two, one-week sessions  give actors and would-be actors the chance to learn about stage movement, audition technique, acting, characterization, makeup, voice, and gaining confidence when speaking to an audience. Each workshop culminates in three performances at the end of each session.
