T-Rex Planet Exhibit at the Perry National Fairground
The Dinosaurs are coming to Perry this weekend! Here is the information from T-Rex Planet’s Website –
Beginning April 18th– T. REX PLANET will land at the Georgia National Fairgrounds in Perry, Georgia. There will be a range of fun and engaging activities designed to appeal to and engage all members of the family. This event simulates what it would be like to experience the Jurassic, Triassic, and Cretaceous periods first hand. “Tracey” (a young T-Rex) greets guests once every 3 hours and can be found walking and playing around the exhibit. The main exhibit features life size ultra-realistic animatronic dinosaurs; over 50 life size dinosaurs in all. Visitors can interact with these creatures, learn about them and even ride a few. It features realistic scenes, enormous dinosaurs, cute baby dinosaurs, a Dinosaur band, and lots of fun activities for children of all ages. There’s a huge fossil dig where young paleontologist can dig up ancient bones, a “Dino Bounce” area with dinosaur theme inflatable bounce houses, and much more!
-General admission for Adults and Children 1 and older is $16/person. It includes tour of the Dino exhibit plus you get unlimited access to our basketball sports game and Dinosaur Band. Plus access to our Dinosaur fossils displays.
-VIP admission tickets for children (ages 1-12) is $28/child and it includes everything from the general admission ticket plus unlimited Dino scooter rides, unlimited inflatable jump house and sports games and Dinosaur rides and fossil digs & a free balloon.
-Kids under the age of 1 get in for free.
* General admission tickets include a tour of the dinosaur exhibit only, (tickets for dinosaur rides, dinosaur inflatables and fossil dig can be purchased at the event for $5 each. There is additional cost for face painting and artificial tattoo painting.)
