Sick Teddy Bear Clinic at the Museum of Arts and Sciences

I saw this on this afternoon.  So Cute!!

Sick and injured teddy bears can get fixed right up at Navicent Health’s annual Teddy Bear Clinic Saturday.

Children will learn what happens when a person visits a hospital as their stuffed animals receive bandages, X-rays, height and weight checks, and a blood pressure check, according to a news release.

The clinic will take place 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Museum of Arts and Sciences, 4182 Forsyth Road, Macon. Admission is free.

“Our hope is that by attending the Teddy Bear Clinic, children will learn that visits to the hospital and the doctor’s office are not scary,” Jack Schwartz, chief development officer for Medcen Community Health Foundation, Navicent Health, said in the release.

The first 500 attendees will receive teddy bears, and refreshments will be provided.

This will take place this Saturday, March 7th.  Admission is free all day because this is the first Saturday of the month.
