Country Christmas in Lights at Rock Ranch

Rock Ranch in The Rock, Georgia will have their Christmas lights again this year beginning November 27th.  This is from their website –

The Rock Ranch invites families to drive through more than a mile of magical Christmas lights on the farm. This tradition started seven years ago when the late S. Truett Cathy, Founder of Chick-fil-A and The Rock Ranch, purchased a truck load of lights from Lowes and Home Depot during an “After Christmas” sale. He thought folks would enjoy an affordable opportunity to drive through beautifully lit Christmas scenes. This growing lights display gets better and better each year.

  1. My daughter and I went last year, and really enjoyed it. Much better than the one at Atlanta Motor Speedway. It will freak you out a bit to see their simulated “moon” – which looks very real at night – get closer and closer as you drive.

After you drive through the lights, you can park at he barn and go in for more festivities. No charge for entry but $10/armband for children wishing to participate in the activities (cookie decorating, ornament making and story time with an elf). Food and beverages for sale. There were a couple of bounce houses on the side porch of the barn (no charge)
