MinuteClinic Opens in Macon and Warner Robins

Got a little one with a summer cold, or in need of a camp sports physical? Here’s some good news; MinuteClinic, the walk-in medical clinics in select CVS/pharmacy stores, has opened its first locations in central Georgia, including two in Macon and one in Warner Robins. A third Macon clinic will open in June.

The clinics are staffed by nurse practitioners who can diagnose, treat and prescribe when appropriate for common family illnesses and injuries, administer vaccinations, conduct physicals and wellness screenings, and offer monitoring for chronic conditions. No appointment is needed, and they even take most insurance! A visit summary can be sent to your primary care provider (or they can help you find a PCP that’s accepting patients if you don’t already have one).

Locations and hours can be found here (open seven days a week and most holidays): http://www.minuteclinic.com/GA/Central-Georgia-/Clinics.aspx
