2014 Forsythia Festival

The Forsythia Festival will be on March 8th and 9th, and they will be having a Boy Scout Pancake Breakfast, Arts & Crafts Vendors, Live Entertainment, a Used Book Sale, and many other events.  Kick off spring with the Forsythia Festival, held annually the second weekend in March in downtown Forsyth. This free, family-fun event features a two-day arts-and-crafts show, children’s fair, a 5K and one-mile fun run, sporting tournaments, live entertainment, and much more. Enjoy mouth-watering foods, fine arts and crafts, and a fun time for the whole family. Join us Saturday night for FaithFest, our faith-based singing competition celebrating music, faith, and our community. Celebrate the whole week with community events and a beauty pageant. Last year, they had a Kid’s Corner from 10:00 – 6:00 on Saturday and 12:00 – 5:00 on Sunday.  This area was located in Downtown Forsyth on Johnston Street, and they had a climbing wall, obstacle courses, pony rides and other activities. These are the times for last year because I haven’t heard back from them about this year.  I assume that this year is the same, but I am just not certain.    If I do hear from them, I will let you know.
