Free Screening of The Polar Express at the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame

The Georgia Sports Hall of Fame will be showing The Polar Express at their theater on December 4th.  Here are the details from their website –

Join us starting in December for the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame’s free Family Film Series presented by the Children’s Hospital at Navicent Health. The film series will kick off in December with the Polar Express, and continue on into the new year with Frozen in January. Admission to the museum will be free on film day. The Family Film Series will run from December 2015 to April 2016, the dates and show times will be posted each month starting in December. We hope to see you at our free Family Film Series! Warner Robins Annual Tree Lighting Celebration and More

The community is invited to the Warner Robins Annual Tree Lighting Celebration on December 1st.  They will have music from local, elementary school choirs, a short performance by the Warner Robins Little Theater, Train Rides, Pictures with Santa, and many other activities.  Everything will take place at the Law Enforcement Center and the Welcome Center. Hiking for Health at the Ocmulgee National Monument

The Ocmulgee National Monument is now offering “Hiking for Health” on Sundays at 9:30am and 3:30pm.   This 2 mile walk begins at the visitor’s center and is guided  by a ranger.   This is aimed at adults, but I’m sure kids can join their “adult.”
