Activities in Middle Georgia for Toddlers and Preschoolers

Probably the most frequent question I get asked is, “What is there to do in Middle Georgia for Toddlers and Preschoolers?”  So, with the help of my readers, I have come up with a list of scheduled, organized activities for both ages.  In addition to these, there are many parks and free museums that kids can wander around and just enjoy any time.

Go Fish

  • On the fourth Friday of the month, Go Fish offers  Toad-ally Toddler – a class designed for 1 – 4 year olds.  Topics vary, and they may have story times, animal encounters, crafts, and many other activities.

Monkey Joe’s

  • Monkey Joe’s Bounce House offers discounted admission for preschoolers (4yo and younger) every Tuesday – $4.

Museum of Arts and Sciences

  • On the first Tuesday of each month, the Museum of Arts and Sciences offers Polar Bear Den – an art and story class for 2 – 5 year olds.  Admission for kids is only $5 and one adult is free.

My First Music Discovery Class

  • Kids love music, and My First Discovery Class gives them and their parents an opportunity to experience it together.  Located in Warner Robins and Macon.

Sportz Quest

  • I am pretty sure all toddlers and preschoolers need a way to get rid of energy, and  Sportz Quest offers just that!  They offer activities during the day and evening for kids 2 years old and up.  The classes are drop-off or parent-involved and some are weekly or monthly.

I would love feedback on these activities – good/bad, best age for participation, cost, etc.
