Northway Church on Zebulon Road will be having a story time during the months of June and July. They will have a story, light snack, and a coloring page. The recommended age is 2 – 5 years old, but any age is welcome.
Lowe’s Build & Grow Kid’s Clinic – Monkey Powered Plane

Lowe’s has decided to change a few things about their Build & Grow Clinics for the summer. First, all clinics are being sponsored by DreamWorks, so all of the projects have a kid’s movie theme – Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, etc. Second, all clinics will be for two days instead of one – Saturday and Sunday. The clinic for June 9th and 10th is a Monkey Powered Plane. ”DreamWorks is flying into Lowe’s this Summer! Your child will love building this Monkey Powered Plane straight from the Madagascar movies! Saturday clinics begin at 10:00 A.M. Sunday clinics begin at 2:00 P.M.!” (Lowe’s website)
Lowe’s hosts their Kid’s Build & Grow Clinics about every other weekend. Not only is the wooden project completely free, but your child will also receive a free apron, project themed patch, and a certificate of completion.
